Robin Hood was out there robbing the rich, giving to the poor, dodging arrows, and generally being a medieval badass. Meanwhile, Friar Tuck was mostly vibing, interested more in pints than plundering. Every legendary outlaw crew needs a wildcard, and Tuck was theirs: part-time priest, full-time pub enthusiast. He wasn’t exactly the muscle or the brains, but he definitely knew where to find the best mead and a decent roast.
While a slot all about medieval vibes sounds like it could be a laugh, Mascot seems to have made hard work out of it with its new Friar Tuck’s Inn slot.
Enjoy the vibes
The Friar Tuck’s Inn slot from Mascot features 25 fixed paylines across 5 reels. Betting starts at just $0.25, with a maximum limit of $50. If you’re betting at the upper limit, you could win up to $50,000, thanks to the 1,000x maximum multiplier. The slot has medium volatility, offering a more balanced mix of frequent and decent-sized wins. The RTP is 94.89%.

As slots go, the Friar Tuck’s Inn slot isn’t bursting with bonus features. The base game includes two wild symbols, both of which substitute for paying symbols to complete or enhance winning combinations. During free spins, these wilds become sticky, remaining in place for the duration of the round. The free spins feature is triggered by landing three or more scatter symbols or by using the Buy Bonus option.

The only other feature of note is the Risk feature, which allows you to wager any winnings on the spin of a jackpot wheel with a shot at a 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x multiplier boost. However, it’s an all-or-nothing type of deal. If you don’t land on one of the winning segments, you’ll come away with nothing.

Is the Friar Tuck’s Inn slot worth a five-star Yelp review?
The Friar Tuck’s Inn slot is a little meh. There’s nothing overtly wrong with it. The graphics are great, and the bonus features are fine, although they are a bit generic. There’s just not much else going on. I can’t say Friar Tuck was ever the most compelling character in the Robin Hood stories, and I’m not sure he warranted a slot of his own. I give the Friar Tuck’s Inn slot a six out of ten.
If you’re looking for a few Mascot slots that I do get excited about, try out Trump Card Queen and Riot Brutalski’s Revenge.
