Indian Army conducts a rescue operation after 57 workers engaged in road construction got trapped under huge blocks of snow during an avalanche, in Chamoli on Friday. Teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and SDRF left for the spot, about 300 km from the state capital Dehradun, amid continuing snowfall and rain.(ANI)
