Raghavendra V. Kulkarni, Chief Advisor and Registrar of BLDE University

The Union Government has issued a letter granting a patent to Raghavendra V. Kulkarni, scientist, chief advisor, and Registrar of BLDE Deemed University in Bijapur.
His work on ‘Pharmaceutical Composition of Electrically-Sensitive Polyacrylamide Grafted Gum Tragacanth Copolymer of Electro-Modulated Transdermal Drug Delivery’ has been patented.
This is his sixth patent. He holds five patents in the field of pharmacology. Another five applications are pending in the Indian patent office.
Karnataka Industries Minister M. B. Patil, who is the BLDE Society chairman, and other members of the society have congratulated Dr Kulkarni.
